Profit & Control Acceleration - Specialised Manufacturing

Delivered a critical financial governance and P&L control overhaul to enable a family-owned manufacturing firm to target a 50% increase in net profit (from 10% to 15%). The project focused exclusively on implementing strict financial discipline:

Formalised P&L Control: Eliminated fragmented processes by implementing a high-priority plan for formal budgeting and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking.

Real-Time Reporting: Mandated weekly financial reporting of key metrics (sales, margin, cash contribution) to replace late, manual monthly accounts and give directors immediate visibility.

Strategic Investment: Established clear Return on Investment (ROI) criteria for all capital expenditure (CapEx) and sales investment, resolving executive conflict and strategically re-allocating underperforming cash reserves.

Digital Roadmap: Prioritised the digital discovery phase for a new, integrated ERP system to automate high-cost manual finance tasks and achieve paperless efficiency.

Needs-Driven Innovation for Next-Generation MedTech

Client: EIT Health InnoStars (RIS Regions)

We delivered a high-impact Project Development Training programme for EIT Health InnoStars, focusing on accelerating MedTech and healthcare innovation in emerging EU regions.

The core of our programme was shifting participants from an "Ideas First" mindset to a rigorous "Needs First Approach". This methodology ensures solutions are derived directly from unmet clinical needs, radically improving the design, development, and commercial viability of new concepts and addressing a common failure point in new product development.

The program was highly successful, with participants praising the practical workshops that applied innovation theory directly to their live projects.
